I bought an App from iTunes, where is it?
When you purchase any app from the iTunes App Store on your computer, it gets downloaded automatically to the Applications area in iTunes. Click "Apps" on the top-left of the iTunes Window to see it there. If you download onto your device, it will transfer to iTunes on your computer after you Sync.

I lost my App, deleted it by accident.
How do I get it back?

If any currently available app is removed from your device/iTunes, you can download it again from the iTunes App Store at no charge. Apple will never charge you again for the same app as long as you are using the same iTunes account. Note that your personal settings are deleted when you delete an App. If you're a FitnessBuilder user and have been Syncing, you can login to an empty app and have all your personal settings automatically be restored.

I forgot my FitnessBuilder password.

If you are logged out, tap Forgot Password and a new one will be sent to you immediately. Please check your spam/junk/bulk folders for that email.

I'm trying to purchase FitnessBuilder Plus or Pro and I get a message saying I need to purchase the app first.

You are currently logged into the App Store on your device with a different iTunes account than when you first purchased FitnessBuilder. Go to your device Settings, tap Store, then sign out, and sign in with the iTunes account you used to buy FitnessBuilder. |

Do I need internet access to use FitnessClass?

Yes. FitnessClass is 100% internet enabled. You need access to use the app, and to watch any 30-Day ClassPass or purchased classes.

Do the class videos download to my iPad app, or stream?

All videos stream using multiple bit-rate encoding technology to provide you with a video that is compatible with your internet speed.
In a future update, Purchased classes will be downloaded into the app for offline viewing.

I want a 30-Day ClassPass. What does that mean?

A 30-Day
ClassPass allows you unlimited access to that specific class for 30 days. You can watch it as many times as you like within that period.

Can I really listen to my own iPod app music while watching a video?

Yes. FitnessClass automatically mixes in your own playing music, combining the audio with
the class video. For classes with no music track (such as PumpOne classes), this is a great motivating way to perform a workout while having access to your own playlists.

I'm a FitnessBuilder user. Do I have to create a new ID for FitnessClass?

No. FitnessBuilder and FitnessClass use the same user system. You can login using your same credentials.

What is the difference between Standard and PLUS access?

When you download FitnessBuilder, you automatically get Standard access. You can tap Manage Subscriptions and choose one of the PLUS options. Here are the differences:

Can I listen to my music with FitnessBuilder?

Yes, you can listen to all your own music. First choose your playlist and start your music. Then choose your Workout and start pumping.
Note: Music will stop playing when you start an exercise video. To resume music, pinch once on your headphone control capsule or if you have a multi-tasking device in iOS 4, tap the play button on the iPod controller.

What if I can't do some of the exercises or I don't have the right equipment?

It is important that you receive proper instruction on the use of all exercise equipment before using it. If you cannot perform a specific exercise for any reason, ask the staff at your gym for advice or an exercise substitution. If you do not have the exact same equipment at your gym again consult with the gym staff for the best substitute. You can also contact us with any questions or comments.

Do I have access to a personal trainer to answer fitness questions?

Yes, you can just tap ASK from the Home screen to send a summary of your FitnessBuilder usage, so we can best answer your question. Standard access allows you to ask one fitness question. PLUS access is unlimited.

What personal information appears when I share a workout?

The profile pic you select in the profile screen and your name or user name (depending if you entered a name in Profile) will appear on the receiver's device when you share a workout. If the person you shared a workout with re-shares the workout with someone else, your profile pic and name will show as the workout creator.

What appears on the Facebook wall post and what can I control?

You have control over what gets posted to your Facebook wall. When you complete a workout, check or uncheck the Facebook box. If its checked, the first exercise image of a workout will appear on your wall. To control the image that appears from a My Workout, just change the first image in your session.
The workout name appears and indicates if you created it or if it was shared by a friend. iPump Workouts display the program description. You can also control the ratings you give a workout and the date/time/workout time that will appear. Version 3.2 added the ability for Plus users to also add their workout log PDF to to social posting. Tap the "Include Log" checkbox to enable that feature. |
