Bio & Philosophy
I have exercised seriously since my teen years. Fitness initially came with playing competitive sports as a youngster, in high school, and in college. I became a personal trainer because I wanted to help people make fitness a way of life. Fitness has been a way of life for me for as long as I can remember. So it is not just a theory for me, it's real! Now as a personal trainer, I can help clients to do the same. My clients can see me doing what I'm also asking them to do.

The biggest mistake that I see people make is seeking a short-term answer to health and fitness. This could be through fad diets or not making a long-term commitment to fitness. Once the client understands and makes the commitment to lifetime exercise and proper nutrition, he or she will win the fitness war even if a few battles are lost along the way. The inevitable setbacks and frustrations that come with trying to attain exercise goals will not stop them once this commitment is made.

The first step would be to help the client "say" why their weight loss efforts have failed in past. Step two, I help the client identify ways to correct negative thought patterns and behaviors that prevent her or him from attaining weight loss and fat loss goals. Step three, I help the client visualize attainable goals. Unrealistic fitness goals can cause avoidable frustrations for the client. And then we go to work and make it happen!
