Sam Page
Bio & Philosophy
For years, I wanted to help people uncover their inner desire to change their bodies. It's something I know about. As a child and teenager, I was overweight and unhappy. After athletic pursuits in college (rowing on the men’s crew team, bodybuilding, and Army ROTC), I moved to Los Angeles in 1997, where I found myself surrounded by "the beautiful people." Finally, I said: "enough!" and something sparked deep inside. I set out on a course to permanently transform my body—and with it—my life.
I’m Sam Page, certified fitness trainer and president of Sam Page Fitness in Hollywood and Glendale, California. I’m the fitness editor for several national & international magazines, and I publish a weekly fitness newsletter: “Sam’s Briefs,” and a daily fitness blog at: PeaceLoveLunges.com
As the trainer of the Hollywood Production Centers and fitness coach behind top talent of ABC's hit show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, producers and celebrities rely on me every day to motivate them to stay in top shape. But it's not just about celebrity fitness. I’ve helped real people—from every walk of life—transform their bodies and lives.
My training motto is: "fitness through inspiration, not intimidation," which reflects my belief that total health is available to everyone, regardless of your present condition. Always focused on the science behind fitness, I blend traditional exercise with a unique motivational and inspirational approach suited for you.
