BACKUP SYNC (new in version 2.5)

In a major update to Plus Backup, we've introduced a brand new Backup SYNC to FitnessBuilder 2.5. This always-on system keeps your personal settings in sync with your online account so you don't have to worry about backing up all the time. As long as you have an internet connection, Sync will happen. You can even use the same account on multiple devices and all those changes will merge into one account –keeping everything in sync.

What is the difference between Standard and PLUS access?

When you download FitnessBuilder, you automatically get Standard access. You can tap Manage Subscriptions and choose one of the PLUS options. Here are the differences in FitnessBuilder 2.5:

I have FitnessBuilder 1.x. Do I lose any content or features?

No. All previous FitnessBuilder users keep all the content and features you've had all along. Your account automatically converts FitnesssBuilder to a state where you can access everything you had before FB2. In addition, you get new content and features that are updated to Standard access. Previous users are encouraged to upgrade to PLUS as you have the most amount of data to Backup.

If any previous user sees less workouts than they had before, just LOGOUT and LOGIN again to reset your FitnessBuilder to everything you had before.


How do I play the exercise videos?

Each exercise screen displays the exercise image with a text tip beneath. Tap once on the exercise to show forward/backward/video controls. Tap once on the video button to start the video player. The video will play in landscape mode. When you have finished watching the video tap the Done button in the top left to return to the image & text tip screen.

Note: Video require internet or cellular connection.

How can I delete a LOG?

Swiping across (left to right) a Log will prompt you to confirm its deletion.

Where can I track my Cardio or Strength sets for each exercise?

Double-tap on an exercise. Enter in the (Strength) reps & weight for the first set. You can tap the (+) or (-) to add/delete sets. You can also tap the Cardio tab and enter in your time, distance, speed, incline and other Cardio data.

Can I listen to my music with FitnessBuilder?

Yes, you can listen to all your own music. First choose your playlist and start your music. Then choose your Workout and start pumping.

Note: Music will stop playing when you start an exercise video. To resume music, pinch once on your headphone control capsule.

How can I change my account email address?

In your Profile, you can tap Edit to change your account email address.

How can I change my account profile picture

In your Profile, tap the profile pic box to add or replace the image you'd like to appear when you share workouts.

Who designed the PumpOne workouts?

All FitnessBuilder workouts are designed by our staff exercise physiologist and personal trainer Declan Condron. With over 10 years of training experience dealing with everyone from beginners to professional athletes, he knows what it takes to get you in shape.

What if I can't do some of the exercises or I don't have the right equipment?
It is important that you receive proper instruction on the use of all exercise equipment before using it. If you cannot perform a specific exercise for any reason, ask the staff at your gym for advice or an exercise substitution. If you do not have the exact same equipment at your gym again consult with the gym staff for the best substitute. You can also contact us with any questions or comments.

What if I don't belong to a gym?
FitnessBuilder PLUS has over 500 workouts to suit all needs, goals and locations. Whether you are working out in a fully equipped gym, at home with minimal equipment or on the road with nothing but your own bodyweight, we have a workout program for you. So no excuses!

How do I pick an iPump Workout that is right for me?
We created the iPump Workouts to suit different fitness goals and exercise levels, from basic strength training to cardiovascular interval training to yoga. Just choose your goal, program & level and you'll be on your way.

Do I have access to a personal trainer to answer fitness questions?

Yes, Stanard ujust tap ASK from the Home screen to send a summary of your FitnessBuilder usage, so we can best answer your question. Standard access allows you to ask one fitness question. PLUS access is unlimited.

 
     
 
 
 

SOCIAL QUESTIONS

(Share Workout, Facebook, Twitter)

I'm Considering on getting PLUS. What Share Workout features come with a PLUS subscription?

All users, Standard and PLUS, get to share an unlimited number of workouts with friends. PLUS access allows you to receive an unlimited amount, while Standard users can receive up to 3 workouts. If you're planning on sharing and receiving workout with family, friends, etc., then a PLUS subscription is essential.

I create my own custom exercises, can I Share workouts with those exercises?

Yes. If you create custom exercises and add these exercises to a workout you share, they will then be available to the receiver in their Workout Builder to access as well.

When you complete that workout if you have the Facebook option selected the first image in a workout will post to your Facebook wall, even if it’s a custom exercise.

What personal information appears when I share a workout?

The profile pic you select in the profile screen and your name or username (depending if you entered a name in Profile) will appear on the receiver's device when you share a workout. If the person you shared a workout with re-shares the workout with someone else, your profile pic and name will show as the workout creator.

What appears on the Facebook wall post and what can I control?

You have control over what gets posted to your Facebook wall. When you complete a workout, check or uncheck the Facebook box. If its checked, the first image of a My Workout or Shared Workout will appear on your wall. If its an iPump Workout, then the "splash" image will appear. To control the image that appears from a My Workout, just change the first image in your session.

The workout name appears and indicates if you created it or if it was shared by a friend. iPump Workouts display the program description. You can also control the ratings you give a workout and the date/time/workout time that will appear.

What if I don't have an internet connection when Sharing and Posting Workouts?

An internet connection is required to send or receive a workout, notify a sender that you've completed the one they shared with you, or post to Facebook/Twitter, and log emails. You do not need an internet connection to perform, track or complete workouts & save logs.

 

If you lose connection mid-download, a red "x" will appear. Try again after you regain internet access.

What is the Notification checkbox for?

When someone completes a workout you sent them, you will receive an email notification that they completed it, with the workout name, date, time, workout time, rating, comments and log. You are only notified the first time that workout is completed, and the receiver must have internet access at the time of saving their log.

What is the Public checkbox for?

The Public checkbox indicates that you are allowing PumpOne to use that shared workout. If do not wish to grant PumpOne those rights, turn the Public checkbox off. Remember, that once you share a workout, the receiver may re-share it allowing PumpOne to use it. So if you do not want your workouts to be made Public, make sure you share with those you trust not to re-share with the Public option on. When you Share a workout for the first time, you will get a message displaying the Share Workout Terms, which are also posted at www.pumpone.com/shareterms.html.

Can I modify a Shared Workout?

Shared Workouts are much like iPump Workouts in that you can make a copy of a Shared Workout without altering the original. The copy, that you can modify, will appear in the My Workouts list. Note that the previous senders' instructions will be removed.

Can I copy my own workout?

Yes. Share Workout allows you to send workouts to yourself. By Sharing a My Workout with yourself, you'll receive it in your Shared list as a copy. You can then modify it, which will place a copy in My Workouts.
